(...) The Octopus painting appears also as a drawing (2018) - here the female body takes on forms close to abstraction, although it is an abstraction endowed with a clearly organic quality. The movement of the body, a dance perhaps, seems to take place in a special aquatic environment. The soft, charcoal-drawn shapes are those of both the woman and the seaweed (fucus), so we observe here a symbiotic relationship between the woman's body and the aquatic vegetation this is a woman-fucus undergoing transformation. We find a series of internal rhythms in this series of fascinating metamorphoses, which should come as no surprise, since water is, after all, the natural habitat of the god of transformation, Proteus. The images are arranged in sequences for which both musical and cinematic references can be found. In many of A. Mierzejewska's paintings, the body is subjected to a particular fragmentation, which, on the one hand, results from the way the body is framed in the photographic notes used by the artist, while, on the other hand, it is a trace of the fetishization of selected fragments of the human body in various narratives present in contemporary culture (from cosmetic, erotic, through sports, to medical).(...)" OCTOPUS is a woman// an uncountable, unmanageable, infinitely sensitive body that gets out

of control, feels and desires, entwines, looks, longs, strives for touch, cannot sit still,  

from longing, from love, from the desire to experience life

A woman's body is soft - like water. Untamed - like water. Gentle - like water.

The octopus is an intelligent being. When I think "octopus" I think "it's pure feeling, it's made up of touch receptors only". So how can this brainless tangle of nerve endings be intelligent?

When the to-do list is so dense that a person, exhausted, collapses at 2 a.m., writes, creates, builds, but loses contact with the body... feels nothing, doesn't allow themselves, because they are solely focused on the tasks... then an alternative wisdom appears, not the wisdom of Western civilization, promoting getting up even earlier, reading even more, studying even deeper, but the culture of the East, emphasizing energy balance, meditation.

What is intelligence?

Now the phrase "emotional intelligence" have appeared, but more sources are being discovered, the feces with which we think.
