I portray young Polish women artists like Małgosia ET BER Warlikowska, Alex Urban, and Kasia Kmita, alongside established and well-known artists, to show that both are equally worthy and important. The only real difference is that some have fame.

Until now, the art world has mostly taken men seriously. I want to help create a space where both genders are treated equally. Men have shaped the world according to their own needs, and women artists have often had to adopt masculine traits just to participate.

Today, as I build this website, I realize I’m still playing a game that wasn’t designed for me. I see it, I feel it—just like Oprah once said, when she asked her boss for a raise and realized it wasn’t the right time yet.

Yes, maybe it’s not time yet for society to fully accept the idea that what matters to women should be as much of a priority as what matters to men.

This series is a tribute to artists—known and unknown, women and men—placed on the same shelf.
