"An exhibition Like No Other" shows a series of paintings. I play here with motifs that “sell” – it plays itself – baroque angels, crystal chandeliers: cool! everyone likes it, it has entered mass culture, cultural pap – is there anyone who does not feel great in the aesthetics of Italian palaces? Hello! Hello! do we have to stop there? In this comfort, self-satisfaction? The warmth of familiar motifs? Will you dare to do contemporary art?

(I laugh at myself, because how can I paint if the end of painting has already been announced, and I do not want to agree to slavery in painting factories where I will be ground into food to satisfy bourgeois tastes?) So I paint this subject in a new aesthetic – and you do whatever you want.
