Childhood is a war you have no chance of winning. The whole world pretends the psyche doesn't exist. You will never get justice; the wounds inflicted on the defenseless little body of your small heart, on your blind emotions, are hidden from view. There will be no forensic report. You can't call the police. You are condemned. How do you dig your way out of a sandbox with a teaspoon? And it makes no difference whether that teaspoon is gilded and bears a coat of arms, or is half-broken and was found by the trash bin.
